Affected: pam, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4 Extended Update Support, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.16, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.17, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.18, Red Hat OpenShift AI 2.16, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 2 more

A flaw was found in pam_access, where certain rules in its configuration file are mistakenly treated as hostnames. This issue poses a risk for systems that rely on this feature to control who can access certain services or terminals.
