Details

Vilar VS-IPC1002 IP cameras are vulnerable to DoS (Denial-of-Service) attacks. An unauthenticated attacker on the same local network might send a crafted request to /cgi-bin/action endpoint and render the device completely unresponsive. A manual restart of the device is required.  The vendor did not respond in any way. Only version 1.1.0.18 was tested, other versions might be vulnerable as well.

Details

A vulnerability in the detection engine that handles Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) packets for Cisco Firepower System Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition because the Snort process unexpectedly restarts. This vulnerability affects Cisco Firepower System Software prior to the first fixed release when it is configured with an SSL Decrypt-Resign policy. More Information: CSCvb62292. Known Affected Releases: 6.0.1 6.1.0 6.2.0. Known Fixed Releases: 6.2.0 6.1.0.2.

Summary
XMLTooling Library Incorrectly Handles Some Exceptions
Details

The XMLTooling library all versions prior to V3.0.4, provided with the OpenSAML and Shibboleth Service Provider software, contains an XML parsing class. Invalid data in the XML declaration causes an exception of a type that was not handled properly in the parser class and propagates an unexpected exception type.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2025-04-09 21:31 – Updated: 2025-04-09 21:31
VLAI
Details

An Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a local, low-privileged attacker executing a CLI command to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).

When asregex-optimized is configured and a specific "show route as-path" CLI command is executed, the rpd crashes and restarts. Repeated execution of this command will cause a sustained DoS condition. This issue affects Junos OS:

  • All versions before 21.2R3-S9,
  • from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S10,
  • from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S6,
  • from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S6,
  • from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S3,
  • from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S4,
  • from 24.2 before 24.2R2.

and Junos OS Evolved: * All versions before 21.2R3-S9-EVO, * from 21.4-EVO before 21.4R3-S10-EVO, * from 22.2-EVO before 22.2R3-S6-EVO, * from 22.4-EVO before 22.4R3-S6-EVO, * from 23.2-EVO before 23.2R2-S3-EVO, * from 23.4-EVO before 23.4R2-S4-EVO, * from 24.2-EVO before 24.2R2-EVO.

GHSA-6Q8J-VVJQ-VHJC

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2023-07-14 18:31 – Updated: 2024-04-04 06:08
VLAI
Details

An Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in packet processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series allows an unauthenticated network-based attacker to send specific packets to an Aggregated Multiservices (AMS) interface on the device, causing the packet forwarding engine (PFE) to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). Continued receipt and processing of this packet will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition.

This issue is only triggered by packets destined to a local-interface via a service-interface (AMS). AMS is only supported on the MS-MPC, MS-MIC, and MX-SPC3 cards. This issue is not experienced on other types of interfaces or configurations. Additionally, transit traffic does not trigger this issue.

This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series: All versions prior to 19.1R3-S10; 19.2 versions prior to 19.2R3-S7; 19.3 versions prior to 19.3R3-S8; 19.4 versions prior to 19.4R3-S12; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R3-S8; 20.4 versions prior to 20.4R3-S7; 21.1 versions prior to 21.1R3-S5; 21.2 versions prior to 21.2R3-S5; 21.3 versions prior to 21.3R3-S4; 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R3-S3; 22.1 versions prior to 22.1R3-S2; 22.2 versions prior to 22.2R3; 22.3 versions prior to 22.3R2-S1, 22.3R3; 22.4 versions prior to 22.4R1-S2, 22.4R2.
