Title
Symphony has an Authentication Bypass via RememberMe
Summary
Symphony process is a module for the Symphony PHP framework which executes commands in sub-processes. When consuming a persisted remember-me cookie, Symfony does not check if the username persisted in the database matches the username attached with the cookie, leading to authentication bypass. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.4.47, 6.4.15, and 7.1.8.
Severity
7.5 (High)

Title
DataEase has an unauthorized vulnerability
Summary
DataEase is an open source data visualization analysis tool. Prior to 2.10.4, there is a flaw in the authentication in the io.dataease.auth.filter.TokenFilter class, which can be bypassed and cause the risk of unauthorized access. In the io.dataease.auth.filter.TokenFilter class, ”request.getRequestURI“ is used to obtain the request URL, and it is passed to the "WhitelistUtils.match" method to determine whether the URL request is an interface that does not require authentication. The "match" method filters semicolons, but this is not enough. When users set "server.servlet.context-path" when deploying products, there is still a risk of being bypassed, which can be bypassed by any whitelist prefix /geo/../context-path/. The vulnerability has been fixed in v2.10.4.

Title
Elated Membership <= 1.2 - Authentication Bypass via Social Login
Summary
The Elated Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.2. This is due to the plugin not properly logging in a user with the data that was previously verified through the 'eltdf_membership_check_facebook_user' and the 'eltdf_membership_login_user_from_social_network' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as administrative users, as long as they have an existing account on the site which can easily be created by default through the temp user functionality, and access to the administrative user's email.

Summary
A flaw was found in Keycloak. An IDOR (Broken Access Control) vulnerability exists in the admin API endpoints for authorization resource management, specifically in ResourceSetService and PermissionTicketService. The system checks authorization against the resourceServer (client) ID provided in the API request, but the backend database lookup and modification operations (findById, delete) only use the resourceId. This mismatch allows an authenticated attacker with fine-grained admin permissions for one client (e.g., Client A) to delete or update resources belonging to another client (Client B) within the same realm by supplying a valid resource ID.

Title
(conda) Constructor: Excessive permissions during and after installation
Summary
(conda) Constructor is a tool that enables users to create installers for conda package collections. In versions 3.12.2 and below, the installation directory inherits permissions from its parent directory. Outside of restricted directories, the permissions are very permissive and often allow write access by authenticated users. Any logged in user can make modifications during the installation for both single-user and all-user installations. This constitutes a local attack vector if the installation is in a directory local users have access to. For single-user installations in a shared directory, these permissions persist after the installation. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.0.

Title
authentik deactivated service accounts can authenticate to OAuth
Summary
authentik is an open-source Identity Provider. Prior to versions 2025.8.5 and 2025.10.2, when authenticating with client_id and client_secret to an OAuth provider, authentik creates a service account for the provider. In previous authentik versions, authentication for this account was possible even when the account was deactivated. Other permissions are correctly applied and federation with other providers still take assigned policies correctly into account. authentik versions 2025.8.5 and 2025.10.2 fix this issue. A workaround involves adding a policy to the application that explicitly checks if the service account is still valid, and deny access if not.

Title
Apache Shiro: Auth bypass when accessing static files only on case-insensitive filesystems
Summary
Authentication Bypass by Alternate Name vulnerability in Apache Shiro.
This issue affects Apache Shiro: before 2.0.7.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.7, which fixes the issue.
The issue only effects static files. If static files are served from a case-insensitive filesystem,
such as default macOS setup, static files may be accessed by varying the case of the filename in the request.
If only lower-case (common default) filters are present in Shiro, they may be bypassed this way.
Shiro 2.0.7 and later has a new parameters to remediate this issue
shiro.ini: filterChainResolver.caseInsensitive = true
application.propertie: shiro.caseInsensitive=true
Shiro 3.0.0 and later (upcoming) makes this the default.
Severity
No CVSS data available.

Mitigation ID: MIT-44
Phase: Architecture and Design
Strategy: Input Validation
Description:
- Avoid making decisions based on names of resources (e.g. files) if those resources can have alternate names.
Mitigation ID: MIT-5
Phase: Implementation
Strategy: Input Validation
Description:
- Assume all input is malicious. Use an "accept known good" input validation strategy, i.e., use a list of acceptable inputs that strictly conform to specifications. Reject any input that does not strictly conform to specifications, or transform it into something that does.
- When performing input validation, consider all potentially relevant properties, including length, type of input, the full range of acceptable values, missing or extra inputs, syntax, consistency across related fields, and conformance to business rules. As an example of business rule logic, "boat" may be syntactically valid because it only contains alphanumeric characters, but it is not valid if the input is only expected to contain colors such as "red" or "blue."
- Do not rely exclusively on looking for malicious or malformed inputs. This is likely to miss at least one undesirable input, especially if the code's environment changes. This can give attackers enough room to bypass the intended validation. However, denylists can be useful for detecting potential attacks or determining which inputs are so malformed that they should be rejected outright.
Mitigation ID: MIT-20
Phase: Implementation
Strategy: Input Validation
Description:
- Inputs should be decoded and canonicalized to the application's current internal representation before being validated (CWE-180). Make sure that the application does not decode the same input twice (CWE-174). Such errors could be used to bypass allowlist validation schemes by introducing dangerous inputs after they have been checked.
No CAPEC attack patterns related to this CWE.
