Title
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 Express Form block missing authorization allows an authenticated editor to modify Express Forms they cannot edit
Summary
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 did not enforce a block-level edit-permission check on the Express Form block's control-management actions, which relied solely on CSRF token validation. Because the token is bound to the user and action rather than to a specific block, page, or form, an authenticated user with edit access to one Express Form could reuse a validly obtained token to add, modify, or delete controls on Express Forms they were not authorized to edit, including injecting a control whose value is later rendered as HTML to achieve stored XSS. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.0 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Yat Wu for reporting.

Title
IDOR in Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.5.2 dashboard sitemap reorder (SitemapUpdate::updateDisplayOrder) allows an authenticated sitemap user to reorder arbitrary pages
Summary
Concrete CMS 9 before 9.5.3 authorized the dashboard sitemap reorder action (Concrete\Controller\Backend\Dashboard\SitemapUpdate) using only the global access_sitemap task permission and did not check per-page edit permission before updating each page's display order. As a result, an authenticated user granted sitemap access could change the display order (cDisplayOrder) of any pages they had no rights to edit, altering the order in which those pages render in navigation, breadcrumb, and page-list output. The reorder action additionally validated no CSRF token, so the write could be triggered by a forged request. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Winston Crooker for reporting.

Title
Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 Multilingual Page Assign Action Lacks Destination Authorization and CSRF Token Validation
Summary
Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 did not enforce a destination-side authorization check and did not validate a CSRF token in the multilingual page assignment backend action (Backend\Page\Multilingual::assign). As a result, an authenticated user who held the Edit Page Multilingual Settings permission on a single page could bind an arbitrary page in another locale as that source page's translation, and could delete legitimate translation pairs maintained by other editors, altering public-facing language routing across the site. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Winston Crooker for reporting.

CVE-2026-18421 (GCVE-0-2026-18421)

Title
Concrete CMS 9.0.0-9.5.2 Boards data source dashboard is missing an authorization check, allowing a low-privileged board editor to modify or delete configured data sources on boards they do not control
Summary
Concrete CMS 9 through 9.5.2 does not perform an authorization check in three actions of the Boards data source dashboard controller (update, update_data_source, and delete_data_source), which resolve a ConfiguredDataSource directly from an attacker-supplied identifier without confirming the requester's edit permission on the owning board. A user granted edit_board_settings on a single board was therefore able to modify or permanently delete the configured data sources of any other board on the site, halting the affected board's content feed and resetting its custom weighting. The CSRF token that guards these actions was validated but bound to the action name rather than to the target object, so a token legitimately obtained for one board could be replayed against another board's ConfiguredDataSource identifier and did not constrain access. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 2.1 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks Winston Crooker for reporting.

Title
Kirki <= 6.1.1 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Sensitive Information Disclosure via 'context' Parameter
Summary
The Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to read arbitrary user metadata and sensitive user record fields — including email address, assigned roles, registration date, and any user_meta values — belonging to any WordPress user including administrators, by supplying a target user ID with a user-type context to the frontend collection endpoint.

Title
Foxtool All-in-One: Contact chat button, Custom login, Media optimize images <= 2.5.3 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary Plugin Settings Modification via 'option_key' Parameter of toggle_watermark AJAX Action
Summary
The Foxtool All-in-One: Contact chat button, Custom login, Media optimize images plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.3. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to modify arbitrary subkeys of the foxtool_settings option, including enabling site-wide SVG uploads by toggling the media-up3 key, which can facilitate stored cross-site scripting via malicious SVG files.

Title
Solace Extra <= 1.6.0 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Site Content Deletion and Unauthorized Demo Import via action-import-zip AJAX Action
Summary
The Solace Extra plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification and loss of data due to a missing capability check on the import_zip() function in versions up to, and including, 1.6.0. The handler is registered on both wp_ajax_action-import-zip and wp_ajax_nopriv_action-import-zip and only verifies the 'ajax-nonce' nonce, which is emitted on every admin page via wp_localize_script (unrestricted admin_enqueue_scripts hook) and is therefore accessible to any authenticated user including Subscribers. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to wipe navigation menus, sidebar widgets (via update_option('sidebars_widgets', array())), all theme mods (via remove_theme_mods()), and Elementor templates, as well as trigger arbitrary demo-content imports.

Title
Missing Authorization in eScriptorium
Summary
Missing authorization in the OcrModelRight create and delete views in Scripta eScriptorium through 26.04.1 allows a remote authenticated user to grant themselves access to another user's private OCR model and to revoke any user's OCR model access via a POST request, because the ownership check is placed in get_context_data() and therefore runs only on the GET rendering path

Missing Authorization in eScriptorium
Summary
Missing authorization in the websocket consumer in Scripta eScriptorium through 26.04.1 allows a remote authenticated user to subscribe to any document's event stream and observe another user's segmentation, transcription, import, export and training activity via the object_cls and object_pk values of a join-room message, which are passed to group_add without an access check

Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • Divide the product into anonymous, normal, privileged, and administrative areas. Reduce the attack surface by carefully mapping roles with data and functionality. Use role-based access control (RBAC) [REF-229] to enforce the roles at the appropriate boundaries.
  • Note that this approach may not protect against horizontal authorization, i.e., it will not protect a user from attacking others with the same role.
Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Ensure that access control checks are performed related to the business logic. These checks may be different than the access control checks that are applied to more generic resources such as files, connections, processes, memory, and database records. For example, a database may restrict access for medical records to a specific database user, but each record might only be intended to be accessible to the patient and the patient's doctor [REF-7].

Mitigation MIT-4.4
Architecture and Design

Strategy: Libraries or Frameworks

  • Use a vetted library or framework that does not allow this weakness to occur or provides constructs that make this weakness easier to avoid.
  • For example, consider using authorization frameworks such as the JAAS Authorization Framework [REF-233] and the OWASP ESAPI Access Control feature [REF-45].
Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • For web applications, make sure that the access control mechanism is enforced correctly at the server side on every page. Users should not be able to access any unauthorized functionality or information by simply requesting direct access to that page.
  • One way to do this is to ensure that all pages containing sensitive information are not cached, and that all such pages restrict access to requests that are accompanied by an active and authenticated session token associated with a user who has the required permissions to access that page.
Mitigation
System Configuration Installation

Use the access control capabilities of your operating system and server environment and define your access control lists accordingly. Use a "default deny" policy when defining these ACLs.

CAPEC-665: Exploitation of Thunderbolt Protection Flaws

An adversary leverages a firmware weakness within the Thunderbolt protocol, on a computing device to manipulate Thunderbolt controller firmware in order to exploit vulnerabilities in the implementation of authorization and verification schemes within Thunderbolt protection mechanisms. Upon gaining physical access to a target device, the adversary conducts high-level firmware manipulation of the victim Thunderbolt controller SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) flash, through the use of a SPI Programing device and an external Thunderbolt device, typically as the target device is booting up. If successful, this allows the adversary to modify memory, subvert authentication mechanisms, spoof identities and content, and extract data and memory from the target device. Currently 7 major vulnerabilities exist within Thunderbolt protocol with 9 attack vectors as noted in the Execution Flow.
