Vulnerability from github – Published: 2025-09-29 21:30 – Updated: 2025-10-09 21:31
VLAI
Details

Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host prior to version 25.1.102 and Application prior to version 25.1.1413 (VA/SaaS deployments) contain a blind server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability reachable via the /var/www/app/console_release/lexmark/dellCheck.php script that can be exploited by an unauthenticated user. When a printer is registered, the software stores the printer’s host name in the variable $printer_vo->str_host_address. The code later builds a URL like 'http://:80/DevMgmt/DiscoveryTree.xml' and sends the request with curl. No validation, whitelist, or private‑network filtering is performed before the request is made. Because the request is blind, an attacker cannot see the data directly, but can still: probe internal services, trigger internal actions, or gather other intelligence. This vulnerability has been confirmed to be remediated, but it is unclear as to when the patch was introduced.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-09-18 03:30 – Updated: 2026-09-18 03:30
VLAI
Details

Circles' remote-instance signature verification fetches the attacker-supplied keyId URL before trust in the remote instance is established, and explicitly allows local/private addresses for this request, bypassing Nextcloud's core SSRF protections. The public, unauthenticated endpoints POST /apps/circles/event/ and POST /apps/circles/incoming/ reach this code path, allowing any unauthenticated user to force the server to issue a GET request to an internal address.

The response body of the internal request is never returned to the requester, so this is blind SSRF: an attacker can determine whether an internal service is reachable, but cannot read its response contents through this endpoint alone.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2023-08-02 15:30 – Updated: 2024-01-12 09:30
VLAI
Details

In case Cacheservice was configured to use a sproxyd object-storage backend, it would follow HTTP redirects issued by that backend. An attacker with access to a local or restricted network with the capability to intercept and replay HTTP requests to sproxyd (or who is in control of the sproxyd service) could perform a server-side request-forgery attack and make Cacheservice connect to unexpected resources. We have disabled the ability to follow HTTP redirects when connecting to sproxyd resources. No publicly available exploits are known.

"details": "In case Cacheservice was configured to use a sproxyd object-storage backend, it would follow HTTP redirects issued by that backend. No publicly available exploits are known.\n\n",

CAPEC-664: Server Side Request Forgery

An adversary exploits improper input validation by submitting maliciously crafted input to a target application running on a server, with the goal of forcing the server to make a request either to itself, to web services running in the server’s internal network, or to external third parties. If successful, the adversary’s request will be made with the server’s privilege level, bypassing its authentication controls. This ultimately allows the adversary to access sensitive data, execute commands on the server’s network, and make external requests with the stolen identity of the server. Server Side Request Forgery attacks differ from Cross Site Request Forgery attacks in that they target the server itself, whereas CSRF attacks exploit an insecure user authentication mechanism to perform unauthorized actions on the user's behalf.
