Title
Buffer Overflow Arbitrary Write
Summary
Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') vulnerability in Renesas arm-trusted-firmware allows Local Execution of Code. This vulnerability is associated with program files https://github.Com/renesas-rcar/arm-trusted-firmware/blob/rcar_gen3_v2.5/drivers/renesas/common/io/i... https://github.Com/renesas-rcar/arm-trusted-firmware/blob/rcar_gen3_v2.5/drivers/renesas/common/io/io_rcar.C . In line 313 "addr_loaded_cnt" is checked not to be "CHECK_IMAGE_AREA_CNT" (5) or larger, this check does not halt the function. Immediately after (line 317) there will be an overflow in the buffer and the value of "dst" will be written to the area immediately after the buffer, which is "addr_loaded_cnt". This will allow an attacker to freely control the value of "addr_loaded_cnt" and thus control the destination of the write immediately after (line 318). The write in line 318 will then be fully controlled by said attacker, with whichever address and whichever value ("len") they desire.

CVE-2025-14857 (GCVE-0-2025-14857)

Title
Semtech LR11xx Memory Write Access Control Bypass
Summary
An improper access control vulnerability exists in Semtech LoRa LR11xxx transceivers running early versions of firmware where the memory write command accessible via the physical SPI interface fails to enforce write protection on the program call stack. An attacker with physical access to the SPI interface can overwrite stack memory to hijack program control flow and achieve limited arbitrary code execution. However, the impact is limited to the active attack session: the device's secure boot mechanism prevents persistent firmware modification, the crypto engine isolates cryptographic keys from direct firmware access, and all modifications are lost upon device reboot or loss of physical access.

Title
Legacy Serial Redirection SMRAM Vulnerabilities
Summary
APTIOV contains vulnerabilities in the BIOS where a privileged user may cause “Write-what-where Condition” and “Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor” through local access. The successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities can lead to information disclosure, arbitrary data writing, and impact Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.

Title
ImageMagick Format String Bug in InterpretImageFilename leads to arbitrary code execution
Summary
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to ImageMagick versions 6.9.13-28 and 7.1.2-2, a format string bug vulnerability exists in InterpretImageFilename function where user input is directly passed to FormatLocaleString without proper sanitization. An attacker can overwrite arbitrary memory regions, enabling a wide range of attacks from heap overflow to remote code execution. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-28 and 7.1.2-2.

CVE-2025-62164 (GCVE-0-2025-62164)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2025-11-21 01:18 – Updated: 2025-11-24 18:12
VLAI
Title
VLLM deserialization vulnerability leading to DoS and potential RCE
Summary
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From versions 0.10.2 to before 0.11.1, a memory corruption vulnerability could lead to a crash (denial-of-service) and potentially remote code execution (RCE), exists in the Completions API endpoint. When processing user-supplied prompt embeddings, the endpoint loads serialized tensors using torch.load() without sufficient validation. Due to a change introduced in PyTorch 2.8.0, sparse tensor integrity checks are disabled by default. As a result, maliciously crafted tensors can bypass internal bounds checks and trigger an out-of-bounds memory write during the call to to_dense(). This memory corruption can crash vLLM and potentially lead to code execution on the server hosting vLLM. This issue has been patched in version 0.11.1.
