    CVE-2025-14945 (GCVE-0-2025-14945)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-09-05 05:30 – Updated: 2026-09-07 11:17
    VLAI
    Title
    Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! <= 7.3.3 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Event Attributes
    Summary
    The Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via event attribute values in all versions up to, and including, 7.3.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization when storing attribute values (using only `wp_unslash()` without sanitization) and lack of output escaping when rendering the '#_ATT{key}' placeholder. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, or unauthenticated attackers when anonymous event submissions are enabled, to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when any user views the affected event page.

    Title
    Events Manager <= 7.4.0.1 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via 'header_format' Parameter
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'header_format' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.4.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The shortcode entry point sanitizes 'header_format' via wp_kses(), but the unauthenticated 'search_events_grouped' AJAX action bypasses this sanitization entirely, leaving the parameter unsanitized before it is echoed into the HTML body in output_grouped().

    Title
    Events Manager <= 7.3.7.4 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Local File Inclusion via 'dbem_data[updates]' Array Keys
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 7.3.7.4 via the em_options_save function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. The stored traversal key is subsequently executed via an include_once() call that fires on every admin_init invocation — including unauthenticated admin-ajax.php requests — meaning once the malicious key is stored by an administrator, the inclusion is triggered without any further authentication or capability check.

    VLAI
    Title
    Events Manager <= 7.4.0 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Sensitive Information Disclosure via 'status', 'private', and 'private_only' Parameters
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 7.4.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view the titles, dates, descriptions, and location details of events and locations that administrators have marked as draft, pending, trashed, or private.

    Events Manager <= 7.4.0 - Authenticated (Contributor+) SQL Injection via 'meta_key' Parameter in Event/Location Duplicate Action
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via Stored 'meta_key' via Event/Location Duplicate Action in all versions up to, and including, 7.4.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a second-order SQL injection: an attacker first plants SQL metacharacters in a custom meta key via the standard add-meta flow (WordPress stores these verbatim in wp_postmeta), then triggers the injection by invoking the event_duplicate or location_duplicate action, which reads the stored meta keys via get_post_meta() and concatenates them unsafely into the INSERT query.

    Title
    Events Manager <= 7.0.3 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via `orderby` Parameter
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the ‘orderby’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.0.3 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2024-06-12 11:05 – Updated: 2026-04-08 17:13
    VLAI
    Title
    Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! <= 6.4.7.3 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via event, location, and event_category Shortcodes
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'event', 'location', and 'event_category' shortcodes in all versions up to, and including, 6.4.7.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    Title
    Events Manager <= 6.4.7.1 - Cross-Site Request Forgery
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 6.4.7.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on several actions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify booking statuses via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-25 03:27 – Updated: 2026-08-25 19:22

    CVE-2026-17089 (GCVE-0-2026-17089)

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-25 03:27 – Updated: 2026-08-25 12:12
    VLAI
    Title
    Events Manager <= 7.4.0.1 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via 'header_format' Parameter

    Title

    Title
    Events Manager <= 7.2.2.1 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'events_list_grouped' Shortcode
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'events_list_grouped' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 7.2.2.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    VLAI
    Title
    Events Manager <= 6.4.8 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting
    Summary
    The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘country’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.4.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
