CVE-2025-11266 (GCVE-0-2025-11266)
Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2025-12-12 20:48 – Updated: 2025-12-12 20:48
VLAI?
Summary
An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the Grassroots DICOM library (GDCM). The issue is triggered during parsing of a malformed DICOM file containing encapsulated PixelData fragments (compressed image data stored as multiple fragments). This vulnerability leads to a segmentation fault caused by an out-of-bounds memory access due to unsigned integer underflow in buffer indexing. It is exploitable via file input, simply opening a crafted malicious DICOM file is sufficient to trigger the crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition.

CVE-2020-13091 (GCVE-0-2020-13091)
Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2020-05-15 18:41 – Updated: 2024-08-04 12:11
VLAI?
Summary
pandas through 1.0.3 can unserialize and execute commands from an untrusted file that is passed to the read_pickle() function, if __reduce__ makes an os.system call. NOTE: third parties dispute this issue because the read_pickle() function is documented as unsafe and it is the user's responsibility to use the function in a secure manner
