PYSEC-2026-682
Vulnerability from pysec - Published: 2026-07-02 14:13 - Updated: 2026-07-02 14:13Vulnerability in the MySQL Connectors component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Connector/Python). Supported versions that are affected are 2.1.5 and earlier. Easily "exploitable" vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where MySQL Connectors executes to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of MySQL Connectors accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 3.3 (Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N).

PYSEC-2026-689
Vulnerability from pysec - Published: 2026-07-02 14:13 - Updated: 2026-07-02 14:13An issue was discovered in OpenStack Nova 15.x through 15.1.0 and 16.x through 16.1.1. By detaching and reattaching an encrypted volume, an attacker may access the underlying raw volume and corrupt the LUKS header, resulting in a denial of service attack on the compute host. (The same code error also results in data loss, but that is not a vulnerability because the user loses their own data.) All Nova setups supporting encrypted volumes are affected.

PYSEC-2026-692
Vulnerability from pysec - Published: 2026-07-02 14:13 - Updated: 2026-07-06 07:36An issue was discovered in the default FilterScheduler in OpenStack Nova 16.0.3. By repeatedly rebuilding an instance with new images, an authenticated user may consume untracked resources on a hypervisor host leading to a denial of service, aka doubled resource allocations. This regression was introduced with the fix for OSSA-2017-005 (CVE-2017-16239); however, only Nova stable/pike or later deployments with that fix applied and relying on the default FilterScheduler are affected.

PYSEC-2026-694
Vulnerability from pysec - Published: 2026-07-02 14:13 - Updated: 2026-07-02 14:13In OpenStack Nova through 14.0.9, 15.x through 15.0.7, and 16.x through 16.0.2, by rebuilding an instance, an authenticated user may be able to circumvent the Filter Scheduler bypassing imposed filters (for example, the ImagePropertiesFilter or the IsolatedHostsFilter). All setups using Nova Filter Scheduler are affected. Because of the regression described in Launchpad Bug #1732947, the preferred fix is a 14.x version after 14.0.10, a 15.x version after 15.0.8, or a 16.x version after 16.0.3.

PYSEC-2026-754
Vulnerability from pysec - Published: 2026-07-02 14:13 - Updated: 2026-07-06 07:37A resource-permission flaw was found in the tripleo-heat-templates package where ceph.client.openstack.keyring is created as world-readable. A local attacker with access to the key could read or modify data on Ceph cluster pools for OpenStack as though the attacker were the OpenStack service, thus potentially reading or modifying data in an OpenStack Block Storage volume. This has been patched in versions 7.0.6 and 8.0.0.

PYSEC-2026-645
Vulnerability from pysec - Published: 2026-07-02 14:13 - Updated: 2026-07-06 07:36A flaw was found in instack-undercloud 7.2.0 as packaged in Red Hat OpenStack Platform Pike, 6.1.0 as packaged in Red Hat OpenStack Platform Oacta, 5.3.0 as packaged in Red Hat OpenStack Newton, where pre-install and security policy scripts used insecure temporary files. A local user could exploit this flaw to conduct a symbolic-link attack, allowing them to overwrite the contents of arbitrary files.

PYSEC-2026-686
Vulnerability from pysec - Published: 2026-07-02 14:13 - Updated: 2026-07-21 08:40A race-condition flaw was discovered in openstack-neutron before 7.2.0-12.1, 8.x before 8.3.0-11.1, 9.x before 9.3.1-2.1, and 10.x before 10.0.2-1.1, where, following a minor overcloud update, neutron security groups were disabled. Specifically, the following were reset to 0: net.bridge.bridge-nf-call-ip6tables and net.bridge.bridge-nf-call-iptables. The race was only triggered by an update, at which point an attacker could access exposed tenant VMs and network resources.
