Title
Traefik: Rootless HTTP/1 request-target routes as "/" but is forwarded verbatim, bypassing path-scoped routing, middleware guards and access logging
Summary
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to 2.11.57, and 3.7.13, Traefik accepts a rootless HTTP/1 request target that Go stores in URL.Opaque while leaving URL.Path empty. The rewriteRequestBuilder path evaluates routing, path sanitization, forwardAuth, encodedCharacters, and access logging against a path normalized to / but forwards URL.Opaque verbatim to the backend, allowing cross-vhost routing bypass, path-scoped authorization bypass, and access-log evasion when the backend interprets the opaque target as a path. This issue is fixed in 2.11.57 and 3.7.13.

Title
xmldom: Parser silently accepts a not-well-formed end tag whose name is followed by a line break and trailing content
Summary
xmldom is a pure JavaScript W3C standard-based (XML DOM Level 2 Core) DOMParser and XMLSerializer module. Prior to @xmldom/xmldom versions 0.8.15 and 0.9.12, and in xmldom version 0.6.0 and earlier, DOMParser.parseFromString() can silently accept an end tag such as </a\njunk>, close the element, and discard the trailing content. On 0.9.x, the lib/sax.js end-tag validator inherits the multiline flag from reg(), allowing the first line to satisfy the anchored XML ETag production; older lines have no equivalent residue validation. This parser differential can bypass a parse-before-trust well-formedness gate, although it does not inject the discarded content; onError on 0.9.x and errorHandler on 0.8.x are the relevant reporting interfaces. This issue is fixed in @xmldom/xmldom versions 0.8.15 and 0.9.12; no fixed version is available for xmldom.

"value": "xmldom is a pure JavaScript W3C standard-based (XML DOM Level 2 Core) DOMParser and XMLSerializer module. Prior to @xmldom/xmldom versions 0.8.15 and 0.9.12, and in xmldom version 0.6.0 and earlier, DOMParser.parseFromString() can silently accept an end tag such as \u003c/a\\njunk\u003e, close the element, and discard the trailing content. This issue is fixed in @xmldom/xmldom versions 0.8.15 and 0.9.12; no fixed version is available for xmldom."

Title
Mastodon: SSRF Protection Bypass via IPv4-compatible IPv6 Addresses
Summary
Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. Prior to 4.4.21, 4.5.14, 4.6.4, and 4.7.0-beta.1, PrivateAddressCheck.private_address? in app/lib/private_address_check.rb normalized IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses but did not recognize IPv4-compatible IPv6 addresses with IPAddr#ipv4_compat?. An attacker could supply an address in the omitted range to bypass the ALLOWED_PRIVATE_ADDRESSES protection and make Mastodon send HTTP requests to loopback interfaces, potentially accessing private resources and services. Exploitation requires a system that supports the obsolete IPv4-compatible IPv6 mechanism. This issue is fixed in versions 4.4.21, 4.5.14, 4.6.4, and 4.7.0-beta.1.

Title
Junos OS: MX Series with SPC3, SRX Series: Processing of a specifically malformed SIP invite causes a flowd crash
Summary
An Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in the SIP plugin of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series with SPC3 and SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS).If the SIP ALG is enabled on an affected device, the processing of a malformed SIP invite packet will cause a flow processing daemon (flowd) crash and restart. This leads to a complete service outage until the system has automatically recovered. This issue affects Junos OS on MX Series with SPC3 and SRX Series: * all versions before 23.2R2-S7, * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S8, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S5, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4, * 25.2 versions before 25.2R2, * 25.4 versions before 25.4R1-S2.

Title
Guzzle: Dot-Only Cookie Domains Match All Hosts in guzzlehttp/guzzle
Summary
Guzzle is an extensible PHP HTTP client. Prior to 7.12.1, CookieJar incorrectly accepts cookies with a dot-only Domain attribute and whitespace-padded variants. SetCookie::matchesDomain() removes leading dots from the cookie domain, normalizing dot-only values to the empty string; SetCookie::validate() only rejected a strictly empty domain, so these cookies could be stored and the empty normalized domain was treated as matching any request host. An attacker-controlled origin that an application requests with a shared cookie jar can therefore set a cookie that Guzzle later sends to unrelated hosts using the same jar. This may allow cookie injection or session fixation against downstream services, depending on how those services interpret the injected cookie. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.12.1.

This vulnerability is fixed in 7.12.1."

Title
Fedify has an incomplete SSRF mitigation after GHSA-p9cg-vqcc-grcx: validatePublicUrl allows special-use IPv4 ranges
Summary
Fedify is a TypeScript library for building federated server apps powered by ActivityPub. Fedify previously addressed SSRF/internal network access in GHSA-p9cg-vqcc-grcx by adding public URL validation before runtime document and media fetching. However, the IPv4 validation logic present starting in version 0.11.2 and prior to versions 1.9.12, 1.10.11, 2.0.19, 2.1.15, and 2.2.4 appears incomplete. The `validatePublicUrl()` protection relies on `isValidPublicIPv4Address()` to reject non-public IPv4 destinations. The function blocks common private and local ranges such as `10.0.0.0/8`, `127.0.0.0/8`, `169.254.0.0/16`, `172.16.0.0/12`, and `192.168.0.0/16`, but it still treats several special-use, reserved, multicast, benchmarking, and carrier-grade NAT IPv4 ranges as valid public destinations. Because this validation is used as an SSRF defense before outbound fetches, this appears to be an incomplete mitigation or bypass class for the previous SSRF issue. Versions 1.9.12, 1.10.11, 2.0.19, 2.1.15, and 2.2.4 contain an updated patch.

Title
Net::CIDR::Lite versions before 0.23 for Perl does not validate IPv6 group count, which may allow IP ACL bypass
Summary
Net::CIDR::Lite versions before 0.23 for Perl does not validate IPv6 group count, which may allow IP ACL bypass. _pack_ipv6() does not check that uncompressed IPv6 addresses (without ::) have exactly 8 hex groups. Inputs like "abcd", "1:2:3", or "1:2:3:4:5:6:7" are accepted and produce packed values of wrong length (3, 7, or 15 bytes instead of 17). The packed values are used internally for mask and comparison operations. find() and bin_find() use Perl string comparison (lt/gt) on these values, and comparing strings of different lengths gives wrong results. This can cause find() to incorrectly report an address as inside or outside a range. Example: my $cidr = Net::CIDR::Lite->new("::/8"); $cidr->find("1:2:3"); # invalid input, incorrectly returns true This is the same class of input validation issue as CVE-2021-47154 (IPv4 leading zeros) previously fixed in this module. See also CVE-2026-40199, a related issue in the same function affecting IPv4 mapped IPv6 addresses.

Inputs like \"abcd\", \"1:2:3\", or \"1:2:3:4:5:6:7\" are accepted and produce packed values of wrong length (3, 7, or 15 bytes instead of 17).\n\nThe packed values are used internally for mask and comparison operations. find() and bin_find() use Perl string comparison (lt/gt) on these values, and comparing strings of different lengths gives wrong results. This can cause find() to incorrectly report an address as inside or outside a range.\n\nExample:\n\n my $cidr = Net::CIDR::Lite-\u003enew(\"::/8\");\n $cidr-\u003efind(\"1:2:3\"); # invalid input, incorrectly returns true\n\nThis is the same class of input validation issue as CVE-2021-47154 (IPv4 leading zeros) previously fixed in this module.\n\nSee also CVE-2026-40199, a related issue in the same function affecting IPv4 mapped IPv6 addresses."

CVE-2026-34835 (GCVE-0-2026-34835)

Title
Rack: `Rack::Request` accepts invalid Host characters, enabling host allowlist bypass.
Summary
Rack is a modular Ruby web server interface. From versions 3.0.0.beta1 to before 3.1.21, and 3.2.0 to before 3.2.6, Rack::Request parses the Host header using an AUTHORITY regular expression that accepts characters not permitted in RFC-compliant hostnames, including /, ?, #, and @. Because req.host returns the full parsed value, applications that validate hosts using naive prefix or suffix checks can be bypassed. This can lead to host header poisoning in applications that use req.host, req.url, or req.base_url for link generation, redirects, or origin validation. This issue has been patched in versions 3.1.21 and 3.2.6.

Title
Junos OS: SRX Series, MX Series: When a specifically malformed first ISAKMP packet is received kmd/iked crashes
Summary
An Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in the IPsec library used by kmd and iked of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series and MX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a complete Denial-of-Service (DoS). If an affected device receives a specifically malformed first ISAKMP packet from the initiator, the kmd/iked process will crash and restart, which momentarily prevents new security associations (SAs) for from being established. Repeated exploitation of this vulnerability causes a complete inability to establish new VPN connections. This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series and MX Series: * all versions before 22.4R3-S9, * 23.2 version before 23.2R2-S6, * 23.4 version before 23.4R2-S7, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S4, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S3, * 25.2 versions before 25.2R1-S2, 25.2R2.

Mitigation MIT-5
Implementation

Strategy: Input Validation

  • Assume all input is malicious. Use an "accept known good" input validation strategy, i.e., use a list of acceptable inputs that strictly conform to specifications. Reject any input that does not strictly conform to specifications, or transform it into something that does.
  • When performing input validation, consider all potentially relevant properties, including length, type of input, the full range of acceptable values, missing or extra inputs, syntax, consistency across related fields, and conformance to business rules. As an example of business rule logic, "boat" may be syntactically valid because it only contains alphanumeric characters, but it is not valid if the input is only expected to contain colors such as "red" or "blue."
  • Do not rely exclusively on looking for malicious or malformed inputs. This is likely to miss at least one undesirable input, especially if the code's environment changes. This can give attackers enough room to bypass the intended validation. However, denylists can be useful for detecting potential attacks or determining which inputs are so malformed that they should be rejected outright.
CAPEC-66: SQL Injection

This attack exploits target software that constructs SQL statements based on user input. An attacker crafts input strings so that when the target software constructs SQL statements based on the input, the resulting SQL statement performs actions other than those the application intended. SQL Injection results from failure of the application to appropriately validate input.

CAPEC-676: NoSQL Injection

An adversary targets software that constructs NoSQL statements based on user input or with parameters vulnerable to operator replacement in order to achieve a variety of technical impacts such as escalating privileges, bypassing authentication, and/or executing code.
