Title
TeamDavid: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via 'pathname' parameter in link storing functionality
Summary
Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox 's link storing functionality (//ServerClient_celink.htm) accepts a “pathname” parameter, which can be set to network locations using UNC paths (e.g., “\\Server\Share”). The server processes these paths without validation, resulting in outbound connection attempts to attacker-controlled SMB servers. This enables authenticated attackers to trigger the server to authenticate to arbitrary SMB endpoints, potentially exposing NTLM authentication information (such as NTLM hashes). If outbound connections to port 445 (SMB) are permitted, attackers can use this to conduct SMB relay or credential theft attacks. Exploitation of the “pathname” parameter is possible without authentication. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528. Starting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality.

Title
Shelf Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via Asset CSV Import imageUrl Validation Bypass
Summary
Shelf is a platform for tracking physical assets. Prior to version 1.20.3, authenticated users with the `asset:import` permission can trigger server-side HTTP requests to attacker-controlled URLs through the Asset CSV Content Import feature. The `imageUrl` validation logic can be bypassed through multiple techniques, including image-extension suffixes, image-related path keywords, domain substring matching, and redirect chains. After validation, the server performs an unrestricted `fetch()` request to the supplied URL. This results in a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allows attackers to reach internal network services, cloud metadata endpoints, and arbitrary external hosts from the application's network context. Additionally, response bodies are fully buffered before size validation, creating a potential memory exhaustion vector. Version 1.20.3 patches the issue.

LobeHub: Unauthenticated SSRF in `/webapi/proxy`
Summary
LobeHub is a work-and-lifestyle space to find, build, and collaborate with agent teammates that grow with you. Prior to 2.1.57, the /webapi/proxy endpoint on app.lobehub.com accepts a URL in the POST body and fetches it server-side without any authentication. An attacker can use this to make arbitrary outbound requests from LobeHub's infrastructure, leak Vercel deployment details, and inject cookies on the lobehub.com domain through reflected Set-Cookie headers. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.57.

Transmute has full-read SSRF in URL file import (POST /api/files/url) — no host/IP validation, follows redirects
Summary
Transmute is a free, open-source, self-hosted file conversion and compression tool. Prior to version 1.3.0, Transmute's URL import endpoint, `POST /api/files/url`, is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The HTTP downloader used by this endpoint fetches user-supplied URLs with redirects enabled and does not validate whether the target resolves to a public, external address. As a result, an authenticated user (or guest user if they are enabled) may be able to cause the Transmute server to make HTTP requests to internal or cloud-local resources from the server's network position. Because downloaded content is stored and can later be retrieved through `GET /api/files/{id}`, this issue can result in full-read SSRF rather than blind SSRF. This is fixed in version 1.3.0.

LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, LibreChat allows users to configure custom OpenAI-compatible API endpoints by setting a baseURL. This URL is used to construct HTTP requests without any SSRF validation — no private IP check, no scheme restriction, no DNS pinning. Open WebUI: DNS Rebinding SSRF Bypass

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. Prior to 0.11.0, Open WebUI resolved a hostname during URL validation and rejected private, loopback, and link-local addresses, but the HTTP clients resolved the hostname again at connection time. An authenticated attacker who controlled authoritative DNS for a submitted hostname could answer with a public address during validation and an internal one during connection, reaching cloud metadata, loopback admin APIs, or internal services through URL ingest, chat image_url fetches, image editing, or OAuth profile-picture fetches, with most paths returning the response to the attacker and the OAuth path forwarding the OAuth access token. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

Prior to 0.9.6, the SafePlaywrightURLLoader implements a validate_url function to prevent SSRF attacks by checking the IP address of the user-provided URL. However, this validation is performed only on the initial URL. Since Playwright automatically follows HTTP redirects (301/302) by default, an attacker can bypass the validation by providing a safe URL that redirects to a restricted internal network address (e.g., localhost, Docker container network, or Cloud Metadata). This allows the application to access internal services despite ENABLE_RAG_LOCAL_WEB_FETCH being set to False This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.6.

Open WebUI: Path traversal / SSRF in terminal server proxy via encoded path traversal
Summary
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.6, the terminal-server reverse proxy in `backend/open_webui/routers/terminals.py` does not fully confine the user-controlled `path` segment before forwarding it to an admin-configured terminal server. An authenticated user who has been granted access to a terminal server can craft `path` values containing encoded `../` traversal sequences that escape the intended path (or policy) scope on that server, reaching unintended endpoints and files on the terminal-server host. Where the terminal server fans requests out to internal services, this also gives SSRF-style reach into those services. This is a separate code path from the `/api/v1/retrieval/process/web` SSRF (GHSA-c6xv-rcvw-v685), with its own input. Two distinct vectors are consolidated here: first, raw path forwarding / single-encoded traversal (original report); and second, a bypass of the subsequently-added `_sanitize_proxy_path` mitigation using double-encoded dots (`%252e%252e`). The attacker-controlled input is the request `path`, supplied by the non-admin user, not anything an administrator configures, so this is not an admin-trust / Rule-9 situation. Version 0.9.6 fixes the issue.

CAPEC-664: Server Side Request Forgery

An adversary exploits improper input validation by submitting maliciously crafted input to a target application running on a server, with the goal of forcing the server to make a request either to itself, to web services running in the server’s internal network, or to external third parties. If successful, the adversary’s request will be made with the server’s privilege level, bypassing its authentication controls. This ultimately allows the adversary to access sensitive data, execute commands on the server’s network, and make external requests with the stolen identity of the server. Server Side Request Forgery attacks differ from Cross Site Request Forgery attacks in that they target the server itself, whereas CSRF attacks exploit an insecure user authentication mechanism to perform unauthorized actions on the user's behalf.
