Title
signalk-server: Privilege Escalation by Admin Role Injection via /enableSecurity
Summary
Signal K Server is a server application that runs on a central hub in a boat. Prior to version 2.24.0-beta.4, there is a privilege escalation vulnerability by Admin Role Injection via /enableSecurity. An unauthenticated attacker can gain full Administrator access to the SignalK server at any time, allowing them to modify sensitive vessel routing data, alter server configurations, and access restricted endpoints. This issue has been patched in version 2.24.0-beta.4.

Missing authorization checks in Wertheim SafeController Software allow low-privileged users to access restricted functions
Summary
The Wertheim SafeController Software, AssemblyVersion 6.15.8328.28014, contains missing authorization checks on multiple web application endpoints. An authenticated attacker with minimal privileges can access endpoints that are not visible in the frontend but remain directly reachable. This allows the attacker to perform restricted actions such as switching the user's branch, uploading arbitrary files, downloading arbitrary files, and viewing details of arbitrary branches.

Title
act: actions/cache server allows malicious cache injection
Summary
act is a project which allows for local running of github actions. Prior to version 0.2.86, act's built in actions/cache server listens to connections on all interfaces and allows anyone who can connect to it including someone anywhere on the internet to create caches with arbitrary keys and retrieve all existing caches. If they can predict which cache keys will be used by local actions, they can create malicious caches containing whatever files they please most likely allowing arbitrary remote code execution within the docker container. This issue has been patched in version 0.2.86.

Title
Langflow: Authenticated Users Can Read, Modify, and Delete Any Flow via Missing Ownership Check
Summary
Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. Prior to version 1.5.1, the `_read_flow` helper in `src/backend/base/langflow/api/v1/flows.py` branched on the `AUTO_LOGIN` setting to decide whether to filter by `user_id`. When `AUTO_LOGIN` was `False` (i.e., authentication was enabled), neither branch enforced an ownership check — the query returned any flow matching the given UUID regardless of who owned it. This allowed any authenticated user to read any other user's flow, including embedded plaintext API keys; modify the logic of another user's AI agents, and/or delete flows belonging to other users. The vulnerability was introduced by the conditional logic that was meant to accommodate public/example flows (those with `user_id = NULL`) under auto-login mode, but inadvertently left the authenticated path without an ownership filter. The fix in version 1.5.1 removes the `AUTO_LOGIN` conditional entirely and unconditionally scopes the query to the requesting user.

Title
OpenEMR Missing Authorization in Procedure Order AJAX Deletion Handler
Summary
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to version 8.0.0.3, missing authorization in the AJAX deletion endpoint `interface/forms/procedure_order/handle_deletions.php` allows any authenticated user, regardless of role, to irreversibly delete procedure orders, answers, and specimens belonging to any patient in the system. Version 8.0.0.3 patches the issue.

Title
CtrlPanel has Missing Authentication Checks in Datatable Admin Endpoints
Summary
CtrlPanel is open-source billing software for hosting providers. In versions 1.1.1 and prior, multiple admin controllers expose DataTable endpoints without authorization checks, allowing any authenticated user to access sensitive administrative data that should be restricted to administrators only. The affected admin controllers define datatable() methods that are reachable via GET requests but lack any permission or role verification. Because the routes fall under the /admin/ prefix, operators may assume they are protected - however, the middleware applied to this route group does not enforce admin-level authorization on these specific endpoints. As a result, any authenticated user (regardless of role) can query these endpoints and receive paginated JSON responses containing sensitive records. Exploitation can result in enumeration of user PII, payment and transaction records, active voucher and coupon codes, role and permission structure, server ownership mappings and support ticket contents. This issue has been fixed in version 1.2.0.

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `plugin/PlayLists/View/Playlists_schedules/add.json.php` endpoint allows any authenticated user with streaming permission to create or modify broadcast schedules targeting any playlist on the platform, regardless of ownership. When the schedule executes, the rebroadcast runs under the victim playlist owner's identity, allowing content hijacking and stream disruption. Commit 1e6dc20172de986f60641eb4fdb4090f079ffdce contains a patch.

AVideo's IDOR in uploadPoster.php Allows Any Authenticated User to Overwrite Scheduled Live Stream Posters and Trigger False Socket Notifications
Summary
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `plugin/Live/uploadPoster.php` endpoint allows any authenticated user to overwrite the poster image for any scheduled live stream by supplying an arbitrary `live_schedule_id`. The endpoint only checks `User::isLogged()` but never verifies that the authenticated user owns the targeted schedule. After overwriting the poster, the endpoint broadcasts a `socketLiveOFFCallback` notification containing the victim's broadcast key and user ID to all connected WebSocket clients. Commit 5fcb3bdf59f26d65e203cfbc8a685356ba300b60 fixes the issue.

Description:

  • Divide the product into anonymous, normal, privileged, and administrative areas. Reduce the attack surface by carefully mapping roles with data and functionality. Use role-based access control (RBAC) [REF-229] to enforce the roles at the appropriate boundaries.

CAPEC-665: Exploitation of Thunderbolt Protection Flaws

An adversary leverages a firmware weakness within the Thunderbolt protocol, on a computing device to manipulate Thunderbolt controller firmware in order to exploit vulnerabilities in the implementation of authorization and verification schemes within Thunderbolt protection mechanisms. Upon gaining physical access to a target device, the adversary conducts high-level firmware manipulation of the victim Thunderbolt controller SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) flash, through the use of a SPI Programing device and an external Thunderbolt device, typically as the target device is booting up. If successful, this allows the adversary to modify memory, subvert authentication mechanisms, spoof identities and content, and extract data and memory from the target device. Currently 7 major vulnerabilities exist within Thunderbolt protocol with 9 attack vectors as noted in the Execution Flow.
