Title
net: dsa: Removed unneeded of_node_put in felix_parse_ports_node
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: dsa: Removed unneeded of_node_put in felix_parse_ports_node
Remove unnecessary of_node_put from the continue path to prevent
child node from being released twice, which could avoid resource
leak or other unexpected issues.

"value": "AV:L - The bug is in felix_parse_ports_node during DSA switch setup, reached only via local PCI/platform probe (felix_pci_probe/ocelot_ext_probe \u2192 dsa_register_switch \u2192 felix_setup \u2192 felix_parse_dt). There is no network or packet path to this DT-parsing code.\nAC:L - On affected VSC7512 deployments (ports with OCELOT_PORT_MODE_NONE in the vulnerable window) whose DT still lists those ports with a phy-mode, the extra of_node_put on the continue path runs deterministically every probe with no race or attacker-uncontrollable timing requirement.\nPR:L - The double put occurs automatically during boot-time driver probe on that hardware/DT configuration with no capability check on the parse path; per the higher-severity reading used for similar probe-time of_node_put underflow bugs, a basic local user is treated as sufficient rather than requiring real root to create the condition.\nUI:N - Probe and DT port parsing run as part of normal driver initialization; no victim action such as mounting a filesystem or opening a device is required.\nS:U - The corrupted object is a kernel device_node/kobject and any resulting underflow or use-after-free remains inside the kernel\u0027s own security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.\nC:H - The unbalanced of_node_put drives the device_node kobject to refcount zero, producing a zombie kobject (and on OF_DYNAMIC/overlay platforms a free-while-referenced device_node), which is a use-after-free read primitive; of_node_release also dump_stacks kernel addresses. Use-after-free is scored High for confidentiality.\nI:H - A device_node/kobject left at refcount zero or freed while still linked in the tree is a heap-spray target whose fields can be overwritten, converting the underflow into an arbitrary-write and control-flow hijack primitive. Use-after-free is scored High for integrity.\nA:H - The second put hits refcount_warn_saturate() (\"refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free\"), which is fatal under panic_on_warn, and the resulting corrupted/zombie kobject causes kernel oopses even when not fully exploited."
