In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm, thp: bail out early in collapse_file for writeback page
Currently collapse_file does not explicitly check PG_writeback, instead,
page_has_private and try_to_release_page are used to filter writeback
pages. This does not work for xfs with blocksize equal to or larger
than pagesize, because in such case xfs has no page->private.
This makes collapse_file bail out early for writeback page. Otherwise,
xfs end_page_writeback will panic as follows.

Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv6: sr: fix out-of-bounds read when setting HMAC data.
The SRv6 layer allows defining HMAC data that can later be used to sign IPv6
Segment Routing Headers. This configuration is realised via netlink through
four attributes: SEG6_ATTR_HMACKEYID, SEG6_ATTR_SECRET, SEG6_ATTR_SECRETLEN and
SEG6_ATTR_ALGID. Because the SECRETLEN attribute is decoupled from the actual
length of the SECRET attribute, it is possible to provide invalid combinations
(e.g., secret = "", secretlen = 64). This case is not checked in the code and
with an appropriately crafted netlink message, an out-of-bounds read of up
to 64 bytes (max secret length) can occur past the skb end pointer and into
skb_shared_info:

Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: fix double-free of blocks due to wrong extents moved_len
In ext4_move_extents(), moved_len is only updated when all moves are
successfully executed, and only discards orig_inode and donor_inode
preallocations when moved_len is not zero. When the loop fails to exit
after successfully moving some extents, moved_len is not updated and
remains at 0, so it does not discard the preallocations.
If the moved extents overlap with the preallocated extents, the
overlapped extents are freed twice in ext4_mb_release_inode_pa() and
ext4_process_freed_data() (as described in commit 94d7c16cbbbd ("ext4:
Fix double-free of blocks with EXT4_IOC_MOVE_EXT")), and bb_free is
incremented twice. Hence when trim is executed, a zero-division bug is
triggered in mb_update_avg_fragment_size() because bb_free is not zero
and bb_fragments is zero.
Therefore, update move_len after each extent move to avoid the issue.

"value": "In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:\n\next4: fix double-free of blocks due to wrong extents moved_len\n\nIn ext4_move_extents(), moved_len is only updated when all moves are\nsuccessfully executed, and only discards orig_inode and donor_inode\npreallocations when moved_len is not zero. When the loop fails to exit\nafter successfully moving some extents, moved_len is not updated and\nremains at 0, so it does not discard the preallocations.\n\nIf the moved extents overlap with the preallocated extents, the\noverlapped extents are freed twice in ext4_mb_release_inode_pa() and\next4_process_freed_data() (as described in commit 94d7c16cbbbd (\"ext4:\nFix double-free of blocks with EXT4_IOC_MOVE_EXT\")), and bb_free is\nincremented twice. Hence when trim is executed, a zero-division bug is\ntriggered in mb_update_avg_fragment_size() because bb_free is not zero\nand bb_fragments is zero.\n\nTherefore, update move_len after each extent move to avoid the issue."

No victim action is needed, since the target ext4 filesystem is already mounted on any normal system.\nS:U - The double free, bitmap corruption, and divide-error oops all occur within the kernel\u0027s own security authority on the same host. No hypervisor, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.\nC:H - The double free returns blocks that are still referenced by a live inode to the free-space bitmap, so they can be reallocated into an attacker-controlled file, exposing another user\u0027s file contents through cross-file block aliasing. This is an unbounded read of arbitrary on-disk data belonging to other users.\nI:H - The same block aliasing lets the attacker overwrite data blocks still owned by another inode, and mb_free_blocks() additionally marks the group bitmap corrupt while inflating bb_free, leaving persistent allocator and on-disk metadata corruption. That is arbitrary modification of other users\u0027 file data and of filesystem metadata.\nA:H - The inconsistent bb_free/bb_fragments state causes a divide-by-zero oops in mb_update_avg_fragment_size() while ext4_lock_group() is held, so the group spinlock is orphaned and subsequent accesses deadlock. Even short of that, ext4_grp_locked_error() forces the filesystem read-only under the default errors=remount-ro, or panics the kernel under errors=panic."

ext4: avoid allocating blocks from corrupted group in ext4_mb_find_by_goal()
Places the logic for checking if the group's block bitmap is corrupt under
the protection of the group lock to avoid allocating blocks from the group
with a corrupted block bitmap.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: avoid allocating blocks from corrupted group in ext4_mb_try_best_found()
Determine if the group block bitmap is corrupted before using ac_b_ex in
ext4_mb_try_best_found() to avoid allocating blocks from a group with a
corrupted block bitmap in the following concurrency and making the
situation worse.

Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: qat - resolve race condition during AER recovery
During the PCI AER system's error recovery process, the kernel driver
may encounter a race condition with freeing the reset_data structure's
memory. If the device restart will take more than 10 seconds the function
scheduling that restart will exit due to a timeout, and the reset_data
structure will be freed. However, this data structure is used for
completion notification after the restart is completed, which leads
to a UAF bug.
This results in a KFENCE bug notice.

process_one_work+0x173/0x340
To resolve this race condition, the memory associated to the container
of the work_struct is freed on the worker if the timeout expired,
otherwise on the function that schedules the worker.
The timeout detection can be done by checking if the caller is
still waiting for completion or not by using completion_done() function.

netfilter: nf_tables: Fix potential data-race in __nft_obj_type_get()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_tables: Fix potential data-race in __nft_obj_type_get()
nft_unregister_obj() can concurrent with __nft_obj_type_get(),
and there is not any protection when iterate over nf_tables_objects
list in __nft_obj_type_get(). Therefore, there is potential data-race
of nf_tables_objects list entry.
Use list_for_each_entry_rcu() to iterate over nf_tables_objects
list in __nft_obj_type_get(), and use rcu_read_lock() in the caller
nft_obj_type_get() to protect the entire type query process.
