Description

VMware Workstation Pro for Linux和VMware Workstation Player for Linux都是美国威睿（VMware）公司的基于Linux平台的虚拟机软件产品。VMware Workstation Pro for Linux是其中的一个专业版；VMware Workstation Player for Linux是一套免费开源的且功能较简单的虚拟机软件。基于Linux平台的VMware Workstation Pro和Player 12.5.6之前的12.x版本中存在权限提升漏洞。攻击者可借助ALSA音频驱动程序配置文件利用该漏洞在Linux主机设备上将user权限提升至root权限。
