libebml2是mkv文件解析库，用于分析或者解析播放mkv文件。 libebml2 2012-08-26及之前版本的Libebml2中的ebmlmaster.c中的UpdateDataSize函数存在拒绝服务漏洞。通过特制mkv文件，远程攻击者可利用该漏洞导致拒绝服务（断言错误）。
