Description

Red Hat oVirt是美国红帽（Red Hat）公司的一套开源的虚拟化管理平台，是RHEV（企业虚拟化平台）的开源版本，由ovirt-node客户端和overt-engine管理端组成。ovirt-engine是其中的一个管理引擎。 Red Hat oVirt 4.2.2之前版本中的ovirt-engine存在信息泄露漏洞，该漏洞源于程序将数据库密码和用户名储存为明文形式。攻击者可利用该漏洞泄露数据库密码。

When engine-backup was run with one of the options "--provision*db", the database username and password were logged in cleartext.
