drm/i915/dpt: Make DPT object unshrinkable
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/dpt: Make DPT object unshrinkable In some scenarios, the DPT object gets shrunk but the actual framebuffer did not and thus its still there on the DPT's vm->bound_list. No victim action is required.\nS:U - The dangling write and the resulting corruption are confined to the kernel\u0027s own address space and the same i915 device; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.\nC:H - Corrupted/stale DPT page-table entries make the display engine fetch arbitrary physical pages for scanout, disclosing kernel and other-process memory, and the use-after-free write into reused vmalloc/ioremap space can be leveraged to expose memory contents.\nI:H - `dpt_insert_entries()` performs many 64-bit `writeq()` operations at an attacker-influenced index with attacker-influenced PTE values through a freed kernel mapping, a use-after-free/out-of-bounds write primitive usable for control-flow corruption once the VA range is reused.\nA:H - The fix commit states plainly that rewriting PTEs via the stale CPU mapping \"causes panic,\" and the related commit reports \"an immediate oops during hibernate,\" i.e. a full kernel crash on the resume path."
