Critical

A flaw was found in mlflow. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit a vulnerability in the `_create_model_version()` handler by including a specific tag, `mlflow.prompt.is_prompt`, in a `CreateModelVersion` request. This bypasses source path validation, allowing the attacker to specify an arbitrary local filesystem path as the model version source. Subsequently, the `get_model_version_artifact_handler()` function serves files from this unverified source, leading to the disclosure of arbitrary files from the server's filesystem and a complete confidentiality compromise.

A flaw was found in python-transformers. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing a malicious model repository. During model initialization, the `trust_remote_code` parameter, intended to prevent remote code execution, is overridden by untrusted configuration data. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code, potentially leading to credential theft, unauthorized access, or the deployment of backdoors.

A flaw was found in pip, the package installer for Python. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by tricking a victim into installing a malicious Python wheel. This wheel contains specially crafted entry-point names that use directory traversal or absolute paths. This allows pip to write generated script wrappers outside the intended installation directory, leading to arbitrary file overwrite. This can severely impact system integrity and availability, and in certain scenarios, may lead to arbitrary code execution.
