Summary
Kwetsbaarheden verholpen in Fortinet FortiSandbox
Notes
The Netherlands Cyber Security Center (henceforth: NCSC-NL) maintains this page to enhance access to its information and security advisories. The use of this security advisory is subject to the following terms and conditions: NCSC-NL makes every reasonable effort to ensure that the content of this page is kept up to date, and that it is accurate and complete. The information contained in this security advisory is intended solely for the purpose of providing general information to professional users. No rights can be derived from the information provided therein. NCSC-NL and the Kingdom of the Netherlands assume no legal liability or responsibility for any damage resulting from either the use or inability of use of this security advisory. This includes damage resulting from the inaccuracy of incompleteness of the information contained in the advisory. This security advisory is subject to Dutch law. All disputes related to or arising from the use of this advisory will be submitted to the competent court in The Hague. This choice of means also applies to the court in summary proceedings.
Kans: medium
Schade: high
CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal')
CWE-24: Path Traversal: '../filedir'
CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection')
CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')

A path traversal vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSandbox products allows a privileged super-admin with CLI access to delete arbitrary directories via crafted HTTP requests.

CWE-22 - Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal')

Fortinet FortiSandbox versions 4.2 to 5.0.5 and FortiSandbox Cloud have stored cross-site scripting vulnerabilities that enable privileged attackers to execute unauthorized scripts via crafted HTTP requests.

CWE-79 - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')

Fortinet FortiSandbox versions 5.0.0 to 5.0.4 and FortiSandbox Cloud are affected by a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to improper input neutralization during web page generation exploitable via crafted HTTP requests.

CWE-79 - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')

Fortinet FortiSandbox versions 4.4.0 to 4.4.8 and 5.0.0 to 5.0.5 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the JRPC API that may allow unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication and escalate privileges via crafted HTTP requests.

CWE-24 - Path Traversal: '../filedir'

An OS command injection vulnerability (CWE-78) in Fortinet FortiSandbox versions 4.4.0 through 4.4.8 allows unauthenticated attackers to execute unauthorized code or commands via crafted HTTP requests.

CWE-78 - Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection')
