OESA-2026-3736 (CVE-2026-82474)
Vulnerability from osv_openeuler – Published: 2026-09-14 16:33 – Updated: 2026-09-14 16:33 – Source websiteSudo is a program designed to allow a sysadmin to give limited root privileges to users and log root activity. The basic philosophy is to give as few privileges as possible but still allow people to get their work done.
Security Fix(es):
Sudo through 1.9.17p2 fails to apply intercept policy checks to the execveat system call in ptrace-based intercept mode. Users permitted to run specific commands can execute denied programs by calling execveat directly or through fexecve, bypassing policy enforcement and logging.(CVE-2026-82474)
