Vulnerability from variot
An out-of-bounds write was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Big Sur 11.0.1, iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2, tvOS 14.2, watchOS 7.1. Processing a maliciously crafted audio file may lead to arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Apple macOS. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the AudioCodecs module. Crafted AAC data in an MP4 file can trigger a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Apple watchOS is a smart watch operating system developed by Apple (Apple). CVE-2020-27941: shrek_wzw
