An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, macOS Big Sur 11.6.8, watchOS 8.7, tvOS 15.6, macOS Monterey 12.5, Security Update 2022-005 Catalina. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. iPadOS , iOS , Apple Mac OS X Multiple Apple products have an out-of-bounds write vulnerability.Information is obtained, information is tampered with, and service operation is interrupted. (DoS) It may be in a state. Both Apple iOS and Apple iPadOS are products of Apple (Apple). Apple iOS is an operating system developed for mobile devices. Apple iPadOS is an operating system for iPad tablets. Apple iOS versions prior to 15.6 and iPadOS versions prior to 15.6 have a buffer error vulnerability that results from a boundary error in the ICU component when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker could create a specially crafted file that tricks a victim into opening it with affected software, triggering an out-of-bounds write and executing arbitrary code on the target system.
