Title
Pocket ID: OIDC authorization code validation uses AND instead of OR, allowing cross-client token exchange
Summary
Pocket ID is an OIDC provider that allows users to authenticate with their passkeys to your services. Prior to 2.4.0, the OIDC token endpoint rejects an authorization code only when both the client ID is wrong and the code is expired. This allows cross-client code exchange and expired code reuse. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.4.0.

OpenClaw's Nextcloud Talk plugin versions prior to 2026.2.6 accept equality matching on the mutable actor.name display name field for allowlist validation, allowing attackers to bypass DM and room allowlists. An attacker can change their Nextcloud display name to match an allowlisted user ID and gain unauthorized access to restricted conversations.

OpenClaw < 2026.2.2 - Authorization Bypass via /approve Chat Command
Summary
OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.2 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability where clients with operator.write scope can approve or deny exec approval requests by sending the /approve chat command. The /approve command path invokes exec.approval.resolve through an internal privileged gateway client, bypassing the operator.approvals permission check that protects direct RPC calls.

Title
ClipBucket v5 has IDOR in Collection Item Management
Summary
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.3 #59, collection item operations are vulnerable to authorization flaws, allowing a normal authenticated user to modify another user’s collection items. This affects both add item (/actions/add_to_collection.php) due to missing authorization checks and delete item (/manage_collections.php?mode=manage_items...) due to a broken ownership check in removeItemFromCollection(). As a result, attackers can insert and remove items from collections they do not own. Version 5.5.3 #59 fixes the issue.

Discourse vulnerable to group membership addition permission bypass via discourse-policy plugin
Summary
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Versions prior to 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 have a security flaw in the discourse-policy plugin which allowed a user with policy creation permission to gain membership access to any private/restricted groups. Once membership to a private/restricted group has been obtained, the user will be able to read private topics that only the group has access to. Versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 contain a patch. As a workaround, review all policies for the use of `add-users-to-group` and temporarily remove the attribute from the policy. Alternatively, disable the discourse-policy plugin by disabling the `policy_enabled` site setting.

Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Prior to 4.0.2 and 3.7.11, Workflow templates endpoints allow any client to retrieve WorkflowTemplates (and ClusterWorkflowTemplates). Architecture and Design
  • Divide the product into anonymous, normal, privileged, and administrative areas. Reduce the attack surface by carefully mapping roles with data and functionality. Use role-based access control (RBAC) [REF-229] to enforce the roles at the appropriate boundaries.
  • Note that this approach may not protect against horizontal authorization, i.e., it will not protect a user from attacking others with the same role.

Ensure that access control checks are performed related to the business logic. These checks may be different than the access control checks that are applied to more generic resources such as files, connections, processes, memory, and database records. For example, a database may restrict access for medical records to a specific database user, but each record might only be intended to be accessible to the patient and the patient's doctor [REF-7].

Strategy: Libraries or Frameworks

  • Use a vetted library or framework that does not allow this weakness to occur or provides constructs that make this weakness easier to avoid.
  • For example, consider using authorization frameworks such as the JAAS Authorization Framework [REF-233] and the OWASP ESAPI Access Control feature [REF-45].

  • For web applications, make sure that the access control mechanism is enforced correctly at the server side on every page. Users should not be able to access any unauthorized functionality or information by simply requesting direct access to that page.
  • One way to do this is to ensure that all pages containing sensitive information are not cached, and that all such pages restrict access to requests that are accompanied by an active and authenticated session token associated with a user who has the required permissions to access that page.

Use the access control capabilities of your operating system and server environment and define your access control lists accordingly. Use a "default deny" policy when defining these ACLs.
