Ruby is the interpreted scripting language for quick and easy object-oriented programming. It has many features to process text files and to do system management tasks (as in Perl). It is simple, straight-forward, and extensible.

  • ruby/json: Ruby JSON: Denial of Service or Information Disclosure via format string injection (CVE-2026-33210)
  • erb: ERB: Arbitrary code execution via deserialization bypass (CVE-2026-41316)
