Title

Grub2整数溢出漏洞

Description

GNU GRUB是GNU计划开发的一套GNU项目的启动引导程序。Grub2是其中的一个增强版。 Grub2 grub-core/normal/auth.c文件中的‘grub_username_get’函数和lib/crypto.c文件中的‘grub_password_get’函数中的退格字符处理存在安全漏洞，允许攻击者利用漏洞获取敏感信息或造进行拒绝服务攻击。

Multiple integer underflows in Grub2 1.98 through 2.02 allow physically proximate attackers to bypass authentication, obtain sensitive information, or cause a denial of service (disk corruption) via backspace characters in the (1) grub_username_get function in grub-core/normal/auth.c or the (2) grub_password_get function in lib/crypto.c, which trigger an "Off-by-two" or "Out of bounds overwrite" memory error.
