Cisco IOS XE是一个基于Linux内核的模块化操作系统。 Catalyst 4500系列交换机上的Cisco IOS XE软件的简易虚拟交换系统(VSS)存在拒绝服务漏洞,该漏洞源于在处理简易虚拟交换系统使用的Cisco发现协议(CDP)时未能进行完整的处理错误,未认证邻近攻击者可通过发送特制CDP数据包利用该漏洞导致设备重新加载,从而可导致拒绝服务。
