Vulnerability from certfr_avis - Published: - Updated:
Solution

CERTFR-2022-AVI-551
Vulnerability from certfr_avis - Published: - Updated:
Solution

Vulnerability from csaf_redhat - Published: 2020-03-18 14:51 - Updated: 2026-05-14 22:25A cryptographic protocol integrity flaw was discovered in Apache Mina. The closure of a TLS session would not always result in closure of the socket, allowing the conversation to continue in clear text. This could undermine the confidentiality of a connection and potentially disclose sensitive information to third-party attackers.

fix
|
A permission issue was found in Elasticsearch versions before 5.6.15 and 6.6.1 when Field Level Security and Document Level Security are disabled and the _aliases, _shrink, or _split endpoints are used . If the elasticsearch.yml file has xpack.security.dls_fls.enabled set to false, certain permission checks are skipped when users perform one of the actions mentioned above, to make existing data available under a new index/alias name. This could result in an attacker gaining additional permissions against a restricted index.

A flaw was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind, where it would permit polymorphic deserialization of malicious objects using the HikariConfig gadget when used in conjunction with polymorphic type handling methods such as `enableDefaultTyping()` or when @JsonTypeInfo is using `Id.CLASS` or `Id.MINIMAL_CLASS` or in any other way which ObjectMapper.readValue might instantiate objects from unsafe sources. An attacker could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code.

However, OpenDaylight does not expose jackson-databind in a way that would make it vulnerable, lowering the impact of the vulnerability for OpenDaylight.
