Vulnerability from csaf_certbund - Published: 2023-03-06 23:00 - Updated: 2023-04-18 22:00Es existiert eine Schwachstelle in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Im "pesign"-Paket wird im "systemd"-Dienst ein Skript ausgeführt, um ACLs für die Verzeichnisse "/etc/pki/pesign" und "/run/pesign" zu setzen, die Benutzern der Gruppe "pesign" Zugriffsrechte gewähren. Das Skript prüft jedoch nicht auf symbolische Links. Ein authentisierter Angreifer kann diese Schwachstelle ausnutzen, um über einen Path-Traversal Angriff Zugriff auf privilegierte Dateien und Verzeichnisse zu erhalten und so seine Privilegien zu erweitern.
