    Title
RAGFlow: OpenAI-compatible agent completion bypasses private canvas authorization
    Summary
RAGFlow is an open-source RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine. From 0.25.2 until 0.27.3, POST /api/v1/agents/chat/completions invokes completion_openai and returns through the openai-compatible branch before UserCanvasService.accessible() checks whether the caller may access the requested agent. An authenticated user who knows another user's private agent UUID can execute that Only me workflow and read its output across the user or tenant boundary; configured tools may also cause side effects, but stronger impacts were not demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.3.

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-09-17 15:16 – Updated: 2026-09-21 20:47
    VLAI
    Title
RAGFlow through 0.27.2 Tenant Import Endpoints Path Traversal
    Summary
RAGFlow through 0.27.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the dev_insert_chunks_from_file and dev_insert_metadata_from_file endpoints that allows authenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying absolute file paths in the file_path parameter. Attackers with valid access tokens can exploit missing path validation to read any file accessible to the service, with disclosure limited to files matching expected JSON structures that are then written to datasets.

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-08-18 14:24 – Updated: 2026-09-24 14:19
    VLAI
    Title
RAGFlow < 0.26.3 - Server-Side Request Forgery via Agent Invoke Component
    Summary
RAGFlow before 0.26.3 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the agent workflow "Invoke" component (agent/component/invoke.py). The component builds an outbound request URL from canvas configuration and runtime template variables and passes it to requests.get, requests.post, or requests.put without calling the shared assert_url_is_safe validator or pinning the resolved address, unlike the crawler, SearXNG, file-upload, and RSS fetch paths. A user who can create or trigger an agent can direct the server to fetch loopback, link-local, and RFC 1918 destinations, including cloud instance metadata endpoints and services co-located on the deployment network, and the response body is returned as the component output. Where an agent is configured to interpolate the chat query into the Invoke URL, the destination is chosen by whoever can send that query.

Where an agent is configured to interpolate the chat query into the Invoke URL, the destination is chosen by whoever can send that query."

    Title
RAGFlow < 0.26.3 - Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Agent Pipeline Node Name
    Summary
RAGFlow before 0.26.3 stores an agent pipeline (DSL) node name without sanitization: the agent update endpoint normalizes the submitted DSL via normalize_dsl, which only performs JSON serialization validation and preserves the node name verbatim. The dataflow-result web UI then renders that name into the "Rerun from current step" confirmation modal via dangerouslySetInnerHTML, and the i18next configuration sets escapeValue:false, so the value is inserted into the DOM without HTML encoding. An authenticated workspace user who can create or edit an agent can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the session of another workspace member who opens the dataflow result and clicks rerun, enabling session/token theft and account takeover across the user trust boundary.

    Title
RAGFlow: Server-Side Template Injection in Prompt Generator leads to Remote Code Execution
    Summary
RAGFlow is an open-source RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine. In 0.24.0 and earlier, a Jinja2 template injection in the prompt generator (rag/prompts/generator.py) allows any authenticated user to execute arbitrary OS commands on the server. Any normal user can register, create a Canvas workflow with a DuckDuckGo + LLM component chain, and trigger the SSTI.

    Title
RAGFlow Affected by Zip Slip Remote Code Execution (RCE) in MinerUParser
    Summary
RAGFlow is an open-source RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine. In version 0.23.1 and possibly earlier versions, the MinerU parser contains a "Zip Slip" vulnerability, allowing an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the server (leading to Remote Code Execution) via a malicious ZIP archive. The MinerUParser class retrieves and extracts ZIP files from an external source (mineru_server_url). The extraction logic in `_extract_zip_no_root` fails to sanitize filenames within the ZIP archive. Commit 64c75d558e4a17a4a48953b4c201526431d8338f contains a patch for the issue.

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2025-12-31 21:52 – Updated: 2026-01-02 14:35

    Title
RAGFlow has Predictable Token Generation Leading to Authentication Bypass Vulnerability
    Summary
RAGFlow is an open-source RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine. In versions prior to 0.22.0, the use of an insecure key generation algorithm in the API key and beta (assistant/agent share auth) token generation process allows these tokens to be mutually derivable. Specifically, both tokens are generated using the same `URLSafeTimedSerializer` with predictable inputs, enabling an unauthorized user who obtains the shared assistant/agent URL to derive the personal API key. This grants them full control over the assistant/agent owner's account. Version 0.22.0 fixes the issue.

    CVE-2025-68700 (GCVE-0-2025-68700)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2025-12-31 21:17 – Updated: 2026-01-02 14:35
    VLAI
    Title
    RAGFlow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
    Summary
RAGFlow is an open-source RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine. In versions prior to 0.23.0, a low-privileged authenticated user (normal login account) can execute arbitrary system commands on the server host process via the frontend Canvas CodeExec component, completely bypassing sandbox isolation. This occurs because untrusted data (stdout) is parsed using eval() with no filtering or sandboxing. The intended design was to "automatically convert string results into Python objects," but this effectively executes attacker-controlled code. Additional endpoints lack access control or contain inverted permission logic, significantly expanding the attack surface and enabling chained exploitation. Version 0.23.0 contains a patch for the issue.

    Title
Partial Account Takeover due to Insecure Data Querying in infiniflow/ragflow
    Summary
A vulnerability in infiniflow/ragflow version RAGFlow-0.13.0 allows for partial account takeover via insecure data querying. The issue arises from the way tenant IDs are handled in the application. If a user has access to multiple tenants, they can manipulate their tenant access to query and access API tokens of other tenants. This vulnerability affects the following endpoints: /v1/system/token_list, /v1/system/new_token, /v1/api/token_list, /v1/api/new_token, and /v1/api/rm. An attacker can exploit this to access other tenants' API tokens, perform actions on behalf of other tenants, and access their data.

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-18 14:24 – Updated: 2026-09-24 14:19
    VLAI

The dataflow-result web UI then renders that name into the \"Rerun from current step\" confirmation modal via dangerouslySetInnerHTML, and the i18next configuration sets escapeValue:false, so the value is inserted into the DOM without HTML encoding. An authenticated workspace user who can create or edit an agent can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the session of another workspace member who opens the dataflow result and clicks rerun, enabling session/token theft and account takeover across the user trust boundary."

    Title
RAGFlow: Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) leading to Remote Code Execution (RCE) in Agent "Text Processing" Component
    Summary
RAGFlow is an open-source RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine. In versions 0.24.0 and prior, a Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability exists in RAGFlow's Agent workflow Text Processing (StringTransform) and Message components. These components use Python's jinja2.Template (unsandboxed) to render user-supplied templates, allowing any authenticated user to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the server. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2025-12-31 21:17 – Updated: 2026-01-02 14:35
    VLAI
